Par 5

Hole 2 is one of the few slightly uphill holes on the Course and as a par five is a good length for this terrain. The drive is protected on the left at the dogleg commencing the uphill stage of the hole by a large bunker. The second shot is very interesting as it is the first time on the course that the golfer comes across the dry stone walls, a feature of the Sunshine course. There is a 20 metre opening in the wall which runs across the hole about 100 metres from the drive landing zone. This is one par five that needs a straight second shot or you may find yourself hitting over a stone wall.
